Try your best. Lemme tell you something. My sister dropped out because people were mean to her!! Now she is 21 and still lives with me and my parents. The best thing to do is stay in school and try the best that you can.
If you are in a U.S public school I believe you are REQUIRED 4 yrs of an english class. so fail all you want you'll have to pass it sometime. We have enough morons in this country. most run it. Weare counting on YOU to change that. you'll NEVER get a good job if you can not speak well.
Considering your question has : a properly constructed sentence, Punctuation, and a viable purpose..... Don't drop out. Just deal with it. try a LITTLE, and it will be over before you know it. You already write better than most of the posters here on ASK! Don't give up. You really need that diploma. Good Luck
Englisay be hard for some, though that's absolutely no reason to drop out. People without diplomas are greatly loosing job opportunities at a rapid rate, so do every thing you can to get that thing passing.
By "drop out" do you mean "withdraw" from the class so that your records show a "W" instead of a "F"? If so, and you are concerned about what your records show maybe choose the "W" and take the class over next semester. This next time ASK for help!
Just fail it You will just have it next year.I failed Geometry and now I have it this year again and its not a big deal. Its way easier than dropping out because if You drop out You will struggle when You try to get a good job. And if You don't drop out then You have another chance on passing your class and when You graduate it will be easier to get a better job because You at least have a diploma :)
Man that's not like not deciding who you like better Metallica or Motor Head your making a decision that can alter your future income, where you may travel, what your accommodations will be when you do.. You need to find a way not to fail.. if its summer classes OK that will do.. but if you fail... you won't be in the game dude ... if you want to talk let me know
Neither fail, nor drop out. Keep trying, work harder, get help! If you don't have the knowledge you get from an English class, you won't ever work anywhere better than McDonald's or Burger King. You can't communicate if you can't use English in the US, and every job requires at least minimal communication. Get help, don't give up. You have the brain for it, it shows in your question--now develop the backbone to work hard enough to succeed at it! Oh, and don't plan on dropping out and coming back in a "few" years, life will get in the way and unless you are exceptionally determined (which you would not be if you drop out) you will never come back. This is important, you are making a decision that will impact the rest of your life! Seriously, it is that important!
If you are talking about dropping a class like you can do in college, you need to talk to your counselor or teacher about what would happen to your grade. Is it still early enough to just withdraw? Will you end up with a WF (withdrawal and failure) or will you get an F? You need to talk to your teacher about what you can do so you can do better. If there is anything expected that you aren't doing, start right now--homework, being on time, finishing tests and turning them in no matter how bad they are. Get somebody to help you. English is one of those courses that is required, often every year of high school and in several years of college. You might as well start figuring out how to do better right now to save yourself lots of agony.
