There are many animal welfare organizations that can help you get the needed medical care for your bulldog. You can find out if you're eligible to one of them by contacting your local animal shelter for an exclusive list of these organizations.

My suggestion would be to bring him to a local ASPCA and let them take care of your dog. If you don't want to do that, I don't know anything else that could help. I'm sorry.

Have you looked into 'pet insurance'-I don't have any details, but I do know that they take care of approx $11000 worth of vet bills a year(aust) I'm assuming something similar exists in the states?

Many people would love to have an English bulldog. Put an ad in the paper and describe the situation. Just be very careful that he goes to a good home.

Go online and see if they have an English Bulldog Rescue. Many rescue centers are breed specific because they love that breed.
