Try to look at the logic of the situation. How bad is it really? Take deep breathes, and look at possible solutions, if there are some. Do something else that requires your full attention, leaving you little space or time to feel panicky, and as you calm down, focus on those feelings. Diversion is sometimes key in situations we can't change or have no or little possible solutions for. If you're having a panic attack, simply come to recognize the situation for what it is. Don't focus too much on the sensations: it's simply your subconscious feeding signals to your body, from what it perceives as a threat or danger, based on what you're consciously feeding your subconscious. It's called "flight or fight mode". Your subconscious cannot discern reality from fantasy, but your conscious can. Stop at your thoughts, recognize the situation, or do something else. . There is a quote that reads "in all things it is better to hope than to despair". Try and look at the positive of whatever is going on, or what you CAN fix about it, rather than what you can't. I hope you feel better! sometimes I feel this way, too!
That kinda sounds like a panic attack, and I have them all the time, more often then not they're caused from stressing about something. (if you wanna talk feel free, cause ye, basically I have an extremely severe case of panic attacks, thus I may understand what yer goin through mate)
If you are in a sealed off cell and they let loose a big rat in there with you, you will probably be afraid and run around screaming trying to avoid the huge rat, but if they re-opened the cell and let in a lion, you would instantly forget about the rat for your fear of the lion would drown out and overcome your terror of the now "not so scary rat." If you truly want to overcome all fears, then you must learn to fear God who is greater than all of things any man can face on this earth. When you realize that he has all things in his power and control, and that he has the power to condemn. Then you see how he is infinitely holy, righteous and sovereign then you begin to loose your fear of things because you are in reverence of him and trust him. Christ is the sustainer of all things, put your trust in him and he will be your security and boldness.
