I am in no way racist. I love people no matter what color they are, but WHY DO WHITE PEOPLE stare and frown and act so rude towards me?
I am a young beautiful African American woman from Washington, DC. I had a rough up bringing but that has not stopped me from becoming a good person. I'm polite, respectful, intelligent, and caring. (Did I mention beautiful?) Anyway, I don't know if it's like this everywhere, but here in DC white people are unnecessarily mean. They stare when I walk down the street or ride public transportation. They frown or roll their eyes. They bump into me & do not say excuse me. Even when they do this I say excuse me to be polite & they just look at me & walk away. One girl even looked at me with the evil eye & my expression must've given away the fact that my feelings were hurt so she started chuckling. What is wrong with these people? Not every black person is from the ghetto, not every black person looks at you & is angry about the past, not every black person is constantly thinking about skin color! I'm literally about to cry because I hate this so much! Why do we have to be like this? Why are black people so rowdy & wild in the inner city? RELAX life is more than skin, & social status. We all have hearts & feelings. So why do we consistently hurt each other?
