Alright I will! No one has ever seen him/her. It is just something that seems too much like magic. Simple as that. I was brought up a Christian, but made my own choice, when I got old enough to do so.

Icic, I'm sorry for disappointing you. I will take that as a compliment, what you said. Let me tell you-----one can still be a great person without believing in God. It's only a belief. I am the nicest person you could ever hope to meet. Someone once described me as a person that would give anyone the shirt off my back. (let's just hope I'm wearing a bra!) :O Remember that, icic. It did not change me at all when I started not believing in God.

I can understand what Ur saying. I too have had my doubts but when u think about it, no one has SEEN feelings, love, sorrow yet u know they're there. I agree u may not have seen him but think back to a rough time in your life, how did it get better? GOD isn't visible. U have to believe and have FAITH!

Hey craigsmom, I do believe in God (don't go to church) but I think it is useless to argue about it. My best friend that I still have from when I was 5 and she was 6 never believed in God and we are still friends and it was never an issue between us. She was not bothered by my believes and I was not bothered by her un-believes. I saw her last spring when I was in Holland. We see each other only about every other year now and we e-mail each other. We can even talk about religion without getting mad about it.....we respect each other.

Well I have alot of issue especially with my dad and When my friend was in the hospital.. I prayed for her and I KNEW without god she wouldnt of made it out the hospital bc her cancer was soo bad so since then ibelieved in god:)

Tell someone that 95% of Doctorate level scientists are atheist, and you immediately run into a whole host of ticked-off believers who say, "No, I can find a LOT of scientists that still believe." So you find out more, and realize, hey, about half of people who self-identify as "scientists" really do believe in a higher power. Hmm. So you remind them that that includes all scientists, not the ones who are at the Doctorate level. And then they find some statistic that tells them 33% of college graduates believe in God. And you push them further, because you know "college graduate" doesn't mean Doctorate level. About as far as I've gotten with anyone is getting them to admit that yes, once you find Doctorate Level graduates of prestigious schools who are actively doing research in scientific fields, 95% of them are atheist.
And I just have this to say:
Did you notice that as the intelligence level of the individual increased, so too did the percentage that were atheist?
Now I'm not calling believers stupid, but..........well, I don't know how to finish that.

well u might as well strt searching now right? there are so many religions out there. obviously i believe mine is the true one, but i dont really think it matters what religion is true as long as you are a good person. religion just helps shape that a little, give specifics.

Ask yourself this wouldn't the world be insane without god or any type of religion? People look up to it, to do good in life not murder, steal, or lie. I mean yea there are people who do these things. But the world would be crazy if there wasn't any type of religion. People do good in life because they were grown up to think that there is an after life like heaven and if you have done good in life you go there but... If your bad you go to hell.. But do you ever think that maybe religion is just to keep people controlled or sane?
