Is it true that God has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ?

I detest such sadism and despise those who endeavors to rationalize such sadism of their god. A being who does that is so far from being an eternal GOD, that he is indeed an eternal FIEND. It rather sounds like the experiment of mad scientist who creates faulty human being, deliberately blinds their vision so that he can find an excuse to damn them to hell. It makes your god an eternal tyrant worse than any human tyrant mankind has ever witnessed. If that's true just imagine deeply, could the devil do any worse?

Well...then does that mean that an unbeliever can not become a believer? Isn't every one an unbeliever before they come a believer?......It does not make sense to me. What are your own thoughts on this?...

Why would Yahweh do that? He asks for faith and obedience, and then blocks some people from having that faith and obedience AND punishes them for it?

Unbelievers ARE unbelievers simply because they don't believe in that particular concept of a deity, or in many cases in ANY deity at all. No personage "blinded" them; it's not a defect or a lack of ability to believe, it's just that they don't believe what you do.

Nope. Doesn't make sense. Why do people then try to convert non-believers.

There are those who are beyond help and are soo rooted in other believes such as voodo, catholics (sorry if I hurt anyone) and so on that God then lead them down the path they have chosen and further away from him.

I believe that God does not lead them to anything. We were given free choice. He made us sinless and then the first humans became sinful. His word says that man is sinful and will surely die. Therefore, we experience death. However, God loved us so much that he sent his Son to live amongst us to teach the Gospel (The Truth). His Son, Jesus knew that He would be sacrificed and die for our sins. He died, He rose again. He has Eternal life. His promise is that whoever believes in Him will also have Eternal life. To believe is to faithfully make that choice and get to know Him through His Word.

Mark 4 as stated above ......

15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.
18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Well if there is god and its the one you think it is- that would explain the "unbelievers." But that raises the question of "what is an unbeliever?" If they were never meant for the gospel, why has god put us here. My best answer would be a test or to spy or some other crazy conspiracy.

No, it's not true. Let's look at it hypothetically.

1. God is sitting up there on his pedestal wanting us to worship him.
2. But he blinds us so we can't do that.
3. So he moves across to his Great White Throne and waits for judgment day.
4. Then he sends for his consigliere, Big Pete, and says "Bring-a dem bums in here."
5. And the dead, great and small are brought in.
6. He says, "You pezzi di merda didn't see the light and I got just the place for you. Big Pete, bump off these bums and send their bodies down to the Hades Hilton. Tell Nick to give 'em a hot reception."

Hardly seems a viable scenario for a 'loving god' who blinded us in the first place, does it, Pontes? This wasn't your most convincing effort.

If you're referring to 2 Corinthians 4:4 that says, "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."; that god is referring to Satan.

Satan is the god of this worlds system who blinds, but GOD owns the earth itself. The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Psalm 24:1. However, Jesus did say, "I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me" John 14:30. Satan is the prince, ruler, god of this worlds system. Notice the small "g" in the text.
