I ended up accidently getting a tattoo that could be demonic, will god still forgive me an i still go to heaven?

I did some research on it before I got the tattoo and I didn't think really much about it but what was said was harmless I thought....after doing more research I found one person who said its a fictional demon :/

IMHO. God is a loving God and not constantly looking for opportunities to strike you down with a lightening bolt. He weighs our intentions/heart and knows you didn't do anything to be
Rebellious or spite him. Just love him, trust him, talk to him.

A very naive reading of the Bible, especially the Old Testament. Since the mods don't follow the rules I'll re-post here. Yes, Chelsea, you're sinning if not going to hell if you're going to go by the Bible.

http://bibleresources.org/tattoos/

But why would you think the Bible matters? Or that there is a heaven or hell?

Ummmmmmm.........what's........a........demonic tattoo??????
If you believe in demons then they are real.....if you don't then they are not......and even if it was "demonic" then you could either get it removed or covered up by going on that show "Tattoo Nightmares"......

its from a movie...and in the movie they play a small part and aren't demonic..but looking it up in a ask who ever thing like this a random person said in Japanese Wikipedia its a fictional demon..only that one place did I find that it says that..all the other places said like sprites..which I figured a good spirit..

Hi. I'm not sure where you received your tattoo, but I do think, by law, you must be 18 if it was done by a licensed tattoo artist. Were you aware that it is a lifetime commitment? When you go and visit your God, I have a feeling he will forgive you; but, it seems you need to forgive yourself. You can have it removed if it is going to haunt you. Don't worry so much. We all make mistakes and grow and learn. Take Care of yourself and your body. You need both for the rest of your life! :)

Thanks for responding chelsea. I do appreciate your innocense (sp?) I have a tatt as well. I am/was more concerned w/ who you got it from. I am 99.9% sure "god" will not be bothered with something on your body. Having different implacations isn't going to hurt your creditibility with anybody. Since it's in a visible place, you could try wearing some brass bracelets. Most people won't know what it means either way, any way. Try not to worry so much! Heaven's doors will still be open! Have a nice night. :)

and see... well, I know you can't "really see," but You Did Make Me Smile Too! :) It's fantastic that he was licensed. I don't know about you, but my dad about fell off his rocker when he found out. My mom was more mellow. The point I would like to hear you say is you forgive yourself. I bet if I saw it, I would have no clue. If someone is going to place judgement on you and your tattoo, you don't need to waste your time hanging around them anyway! :)

I haven't heard of those terms, nor that film. Since you have others, you can point out that you were unaware of the dual meaning behind this one. Besides, they shouldn't be looking at your wrist anyway. It would be nice if they looked at your face and eyes when you speak!

God is not going to condemn you for ink on your skin, that says the name of something fictional, especially if you did not know what it was implying, for a sin to be a sin, there must be full knowledge and intent to sin

personally I would love to just be able to call it what I want but I can't choose what I want it to be, if that's what the name for it actually is...a sprite is a spirit and there is only 2 kinds good and evil :/ an in the movie it might seem like a good one but all in all it falls in the bad category according to Japanese Wikipedia that someone looked up....but when I looked it up myself in that I found no such thing but the sprites so I dunno...
Report as
Well then, if you feel uncomfortable, see if you can have it removed. And we all live and learn... If you get another tattoo make sure you research it first. Are you Christian?

Hi Jasen, I have two friends and myself that would like to talk with you about the things Walid Shoebat is saying in the videos we're seeing on YouTube. I wish that you would just type out how you heard about him, and what he said that made you pay attention, or the thing that made you feel that you were hearing something true. I've already told you that , for me, it was finding out about the eastern "wing" of the Roman Empire one week, and then the next Shoebat brings it up too! My friend Shay, says after she listened to him, the end-time prophecies make more sense now that the East's role is surfacing now... We're all a bunch of Christian married ladies, so you don't have to worry about inappropriate attention Jasen, but would you write out a little something for me, ShayJay, and Claire7725 ? Please, so we can get started...Shay wants to order the DVD set from Sid Roth's show!!! I'll check back here, bye friend! Beth
Report as
Hi Beth, what made me pay attention to Walid was the interpretation on 666. It made more sense than anything I ever heard before. I like Sid and saw him when he came on. I immediately paid attention because of his passion for his people. And he is the one that got me digging on the antichrist being the total anthesis of Christ as well as the perfect similarities of the Bibles antichrist and the Islamic messiah.

Tatoos are inanimate and have no power over anything and if it was so hard for you to find out what it meant then probably most other people wont know either. Eventually you can get it lasered off if it really bothers you. Be expensive but it can be done. And nothung is unforgivable other than blasphemy so youre good.

God can see inside our hearts, and He knows that you were fooled by Satan, and how concerned you are now too. I'm so sorry that you are going thru this! But now you've been reminded again about how Satan just leads us along, toward disaster, making sure that we don't know every part of the thing we're about to do (or we wouldn't want to do it!), then, just after we've done the thing...he drops us like a hot potato!...leaving us all alone in what he led us in to!! I know, because I used to get fooled all the time! I could tell you some stories...Well, here's two ideas, either turn right around and "fix" it with more ink, or have it removed, or turn the spotlight on it and start speaking out against Satan and his trickery! Tell everybody who will listen, how sneaky that bastard really is!!! Because so many people think he's a cartoon character on our shoulder, arguing with the good angel on the other shoulder! I feel terrible for you, but I have confidence that you are going to get thru this and be fine in the end, blessings to the ones who find out the True things, Beth

The weird thing about demonic symbols is that most of them used to be Christian symbols. I'd focus on the good history of the symbol rather than the bad, but if you find yourself obsessing over it, go have it altered or removed.
