Whats with freemasonry followers? do they not know the origin of their organization?

I'm a history nerd and i know were they came from and its not really good

Report as

Your concerned about the Freemasons origins? Do you know that for 1700 years the Christians have been violently torturing and persecuting there way to power burning the evidence as they go? Now Christians populate a large part of the globe. Do you really think devil worshipping is so bad when you consider that ripping fingernails out was once a good way to deal with unbelievers for Christians?

concerned? Yes because they date back far before the 1700s
Report as
So what. They are still doing there thing. Perhaps they designed Christianity. That makes them guilty but they are not now the problem. I understand your concern and have dredged up everything the Internet has to offer on Freemasons even the hard connections to make and I've even been in the temple with a full tour.

AGAIN with the dang internet, stop reading the internet its bad for you. read some real books from back in the 1300s and lern how to read them

Truthisobvious is correct. I believe Truth is a she. You would do well to listen to atheists like truth, skepti, and raven to obtain factual information. Way to discriminate, James.

Report as
Andy, well what could be worse than the religious crusade I mentioned? I'm not saying the Internet is filled with gold but some of it checks out having talked with the masons myself and access to there esoteric documents.
Report as
why is listening to an athiest important in this situation? I know more about this than pretty much everyone here. i've studied it for years and im not athiest
Report as
Because you must be "this" skeptical to be atheist. It's hard to believe a word theist say sometimes because believing a dead man who heals the bling will ride in from the clouds and end the world makes you look on the credulous side. I'm not doubting your knowledge, in fact you probably know a great deal about this, I'm just sayin.

Dude, I frequently answer questions on here sarcastically or what I believe to be humorously. But I answer you now with all seriousness. STOP READING SOME OF THAT $#!T YOU'RE READING OR AT LEAST GIVE IT A REST! Because I have a hunch that the material you're reading is only going to mess with your head further. ALSO: BE EVEN MORE CAREFUL WITH WHAT YOU READ OR CHECK OUT ON THE INTERNET! If you keep pursuing things of this nature you can and probably will, make yourself crazy or crazier. You have been warned.

I can also assure you I am NOT a member of any Masonic organization. (Just in case you might be wondering.)

um i dont read the internet i read old fudging books get the story strait..I know were they originated i know every step of their existence...What are your sources
Report as
btw I mentioned im a history nerd not an internet geak. i know the internet is not a reliable source. I travle allot and when you go all AROUND Europe and asia you pick up afew things
Report as
To Andyaction, probably the same as yours. I know the stories behind the Freemasons. I've even read Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol, I also have sources that I honestly will not recommend to you, not because I don't like you, but I really think true or exaggerated, you shouldn't obsess yourself with the Freemason's. Even the wildest strories are 100% true just what the hell, you think you're going to do about it? If these guys are that sinister, then they already have their eyes on you buddy. (At least those who supposedly reached, what is it? The 33 Degree?) I have also read some fundamental Christian literature about them, that is not too complimentary. Even so, I would imagine there are more than a few "Shriners" attending church services at the same places these fraternal organizations are being denounced at. I will agree with you on one thing: There are "spooky" things going on in high places, but if you keep poking your nose in these things, you can either make yourself crazy, or think you "gotta do something" or you can just meet with an unfortuneate accident if you start blabbing and planning certain things to the wrong people. Like I said. You have been warned. Keep proceeding at your own risk.
Report as
Damn comment section! (Doesn't allow for corrections!) I want to correct/qualify a sentence I just typed out. It is the 4th sentence. I meant to write: "Even IF the wildest stories are true...." The key word is "IF"! Sorry.
Report as
I also believe the Shriners are not associated with Freemasonry. I was just using their name to add a bit of humor to my second comment.

I have read books in many different languages starting from the 1300s all the way to modern times. i'm enjoying a little debate right now...so lets get started from the very begging, i dont know if you have heard of them not many people do but the Ordre du Temple, or "the order of the templars" captured Jerusalem and long story short another order assissted the french military in their leaders arrest were they were burned at the steak in 1307, before the main leader died he told 9 people to pass on the Ordre du Temple influence. after that they became a secret army and invaded Europe, by the end of the 3rd crusade I think they were pushed out by the same private military that got them captured in france...after this they changed the name to "The army of god" and helped one man with his private army take china...after that its hard to tell what really happened. but later in the 1700s when they finally arose again they were than calling themselves FREEMASONS. and who wass in a painting wearing a freemason robe? George washington. you cant find this stuff on the internet. travle the world yyou will learn allot my friend
Report as
I didnt say I was gonna ake plans against them. I honestly think the modern ones just think its a beleife and doubt they have any plans for taking over countries any more.
Report as
and if they have their eyes on my I don't care, the only reason I actually care is because my ancestors were in the private order that took them to France. I was studying my ancestors pasts in Italia and came across it
Report as
Its still kinda creepy you are warning me, what are they gonna do?
Report as
I think we share a common interest...wanna know something creepy. I went to this really big church like the ones with a starbucks. and when I sat down it was nothing like the ones in italy. it was like a concert looking place, than this guy started talking and he said I could get a Garunteed pass to heavan if I become a freemason and donate to the cause. so I left immediatly. if that what they beleive than they really are sick...
Report as
To Andyaction: I'm not really up for a debate. First of all, my main knowledge of Freemasons goes back as far to a German individual named Adam Weishaupt. Then I have a little knowledge of Albert Pike. All that you mentioned about prior to those individuals probably has some connections in the book Holy Blood Holy Grail. (Which I never read in it's entirety--Yet.) I am aware of certain legends and "myths" but since I have not traveled the world, or have any "connections" to these people that I know of, I cannot comment further. As far as what "they" the Freemason's are going to do, is probably nothing, but I have some literature that I technically shouldn't even be telling you I have, never mind not even naming titles, that there are some "spooky" people way on top of the human food chain that may or may not be Freemasons. For all I know they could be just members of Skull and Bones, but I suspect there are indeed groups with "secret handshakes" or ways of recognizing eachother that even a chump like me aint gonna figure out. What I AM trying to figure out is whether some of these "spooky" people are really that "spooky" or perhaps maybe some of their ideas just might be the answers mankind needs, I do not know. I do know that even with all the technology we have, it is still relatively easy to "make someone disappear". All one has to do is have a lot of money, find a heroin addict or some other addict/punk/_sshole, pay em enough and you or somebody is going to go "Bye bye", and even if the the afforementioned specimen of humanity decides s/he is suddenly going to develop a "conscience" it could be relatively easy to make THEM go "Bye Bye" or at least see to it that they get put away somewhere that if they choose to sing like a canary nobody is going to care or they'll just keep plugging the individual up with more "thorazine". I am NOT blaming the Freemason's for the death of JFK, and I have reason to believe that Oswald was indeed the lone shooter, but he was also set up.
Report as
I mention the JFK assassination because if "they" can get away with that whoever "they" are, they have had A LOT of practice since then. (Hell for that matter, you can dig up spooky stuff about Lincolns murder, but since he and a few succeeding generations are now dead, you might as well put Lincoln's death with that of Julius Caesar's. There are still people alive today that know something about JFK, or they know where the 'secrets' are buried eventually they too will die, and JFK and Lincoln and J. Caesar will be in the same boat. But hey! Who knows? Maybe the "spooks" did us a "favor" by doing away with JFK? Now you can begin to see that if you start connecting dots you get a "God's Eye" view of things, and if you don't have welding goggles buddy, you may not like what you look at. I hope you got something out of all this.
Report as
i didnt really mean debate I just enjoy talking to someone who knows allot of stuff like me.. The Templar order Were they originated from always said they wanted to be able to control humans so there would not be any more chaos....okay yeah makes sense, we are powerless they make us slaves and no more problems..true but would you want to live that way?
Report as
and JFK and Lincoln fought for freedom and equality. Lincoln helped free slaves, and slaves was exactly what they wanted and thats what george Washington never cared to stop who was also seen wearing the Freemason robe. I think we might be connecting some dots here
Report as
To Andyaction: You just HAD to ask that last question???!
Report as
which one?
Report as
Again to Andyaction, perhaps, but still one would have to ask of Washington: Why bother freeing the slaves then even in one's will? Ditto I believe Jefferson. Also the connecting of dots in the past is not quite as hazardous when one starts getting more nearer to one's own life. You connect enough dots, and I believe you might be right: It boils down to that question that I still ask, that YOU had to ask. "...true but would you want to live that way"?
Report as
oh yeah I know. we think alike, kinda creepy...so if they are doing something and i think they are. if they win to the victor goes the spoils and there will be very few people who think the way we do, the ones wo will not be corrupted by the influence. and then one of to things could happen if this leads to worse case scenario...Either one, The order that fought them off from Europe kicks their buts or anyone who chooses to not follow them dies...this is worst case. it could still very well happen tho on the pace humanity is going
Report as
To Andyaction: If your old enough to drink, I want you to go bed, and when you wake up, if you have one of those alarm radios that can play an iTune or something, grab a beer and blast Roadhouse Blues by the Doors. And when "Jimbo" starts singing "Woke up this mornin and I got myself a beer, you pull the top off take a chug, or slam the whole thing I suppose and when "Jimbo" starts singing "The future's uncertain and the end is always near, you turn it up and take another slug or grab another beer and you Let it "ROLL BABY ROLL, ROLL BABY ROLL...All night long. ("Do it honey do it") Just make damn sure it's ROADHOUSE BLUES and NOT "When The Music's Over" that you wake up to OK?
Report as
um im italian you can drink at like 13, but why? i dont get drunk i just drink wine
Report as
To Andyaction: That is the most "humorous" thing I can suggest for either of us at this time. Actually Jim Morrison of the Doors I believe connected a lot of dots himself, and he "saw" things, I wouldn't go so far as to say he was a "prophet", but I believed he wasn't just a "pretty boy" Rock-n-Roll star either. I also believe the things he "saw" were not just drug induced. Reading about him, he saw things even before he became famous or infamous depending on your point of view. I also believe some things "happened" to him that I shan't get into here, because I have no proof and at this time, I think a glass of wine might do me a bit of good. (God forgive me if I help create another "Jimbo" follower/worshipper)

We masons know all about the true history of our organization, and the negative stories written by people who were denied membership because they were not worthy of membership.
The secret stuff came about from members not researching to find out what they could and could not say, and rather than look like a fool not knowing anything about their own organization, and being asked why they joined. They would say thats secret stuff and we cannot talk about it, trying to make themselves look important.
I am a Master Mason and I can answer your questions, if you have an open mind and are willing to listen to the truth.

Really? First question. What does it have to do with God? And What reason would a Born Again Christian be accomplishing by lying about what they know as being an ex-freemason?
Report as
its ironic that your name is jerusalem. because that were they came from..read your history. 1300s middle east the order of de temple or for short and english, the Templars. main leaders burned at the stake in 1307 he told 9 people to spread the templar influence were you than later went to europe were you got your asssess handed to you so you went to china, latr you changed the name to " army of god" than in the 1700s came back up as freemasons, and your roots wanted world control.
Report as
I guess you missed the memo from the Vatican the Knights Templar were cleared of those fake charges.
Philip the fare of France owed the Templars a large amount of money and did not want to pay it back the money. He made up the charges to take the Templars money and land; all he got was the land, and no money.
They were arrested friday 13 October 1307, that is where they get friday the 13 is bad luck.

James....one must profess a belief in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; in short the God of creation. An atheist, a mad mad, or a fool cannot be made a Mason. I have been a Master Mason since 1974.

That's not what I hear. it appears it does matter what religion you are. Just as long as you believe in God.

James.... I am sorry, I should have asked where you are; as every Grand Lodge is independent from one another. There are landmarks that all Grand Lodges must follow. I live in Wisconsin, USA.
