No. If one is to believe Revelations, which I do not, many things have to occur first. Most of the events described are so utterly fantastical and surreal, it would be difficult to mistake them, although the " end times" have been supposedly imminent for centuries. Suffice it to say few are holding their breath.
I fully intended to answer this but there was a knock at the front door. I tried to ignore it but then I heart a voice with a Yiddish accent say, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock" and all the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. I raced out there to let him in but it was just the wind. Dang!
So yes, I think he's already returned and I missed my opportunity.
John 14:28, 29 says, "You heard that I said to you I am going away and I am coming [back] to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am. So now I have told you before it occurs, in order that, when it does occur, you may believe."
Clearly, Jesus confirms that he will return. The only question we need answered is: When? Jesus himself answered this in Matthew 24:36: "Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father." By saying that "only the Father" knows, Jesus clearly tells us that when the moment that God, his Father, has set for him to return arrives is when he will.
However, Jesus did give us several signs that will mark the proximity of his return Matthew 24:3-35.
Not for at least 10 yrs.there are still prophecies to be fulfilled, were coming into an era of global earth change.there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." CONGRATULATIONS! You just started a HUGE fight which has no potential to solve anything. All it will do is make people mad at each other.. If you are just wanting to know what people think well, still it is very hot topic, which is just a huge fight. Personally I believe that there will come a new age, and Kingdom of God shall come.. But I think there is a lot of misinformation on both sides, and that people need to calm down and respect others.
