Golden Retriever is a kind, smart, confident, and loyal dog. Neither aggressive nor timid, the Golden Retriever is extremely patient, which is perfect for kids. While it does need a lot of exercise, its love of play makes this an easy thing to achieve.
It depends on a number of things. Your environment, your place of residence, the kind of lifestyle you lead, etc. If you live a sedentary lifestyle, you aren't going to want a Collie. If you're really active, you probably won't want a little lap dog. Personally, I love Labrador Retrievers because they're so sweet, they're smart, they're tons of fun, and they're good for just about any outdoorsy activity (especially swimming and other water related things). Mutts can also be really great dogs to have, because they have unique traits from both parents. Good luck!
There is really no such thing as the best type of dog because not everyone agrees on one type of canine. I believe though that the best type of dog is the one sitting next to you at home, or the one you long to meet at some point.
well it depends if you want one for a companion,a working dog,or the size of dog u want cuz if u want a companion dog i suggest golden retriever or a shih-tzu but for a working dog well it depends on the type of work you want
Coton de tulear. They are a really fluffy, friendly, small, rare and happy dog from Madagascar. Or a mutt my dog is a mutt but when I grow up I will have 2 Coton de tulears and a Kooikerhondje and some horses and a mutt
There is no best and their all the best for a purpose. Decide what you want a dog for; just someone to love,a buddy? A large buddy or a small one?. Protection?, to hunt food?,a playmate, just someone to talk, to pull your sled and on and on. Theres a dog for every purpose and a purpose for every dog. Don't say I want a dog any dog. Decide why I want a dog and you can narrow your search to a few breeds. Then ask, which is the best.
Hello Karen here... It is hard to say what dog you would like because depending on your life style and amount of commitment you intend to give a dog with determine what one is right for you... I do love Great Danes as they are a very loving and loyal dog... they are very affectionate and I have only ever heard of one biting some one... That was because this person was Abusive to the dog... A lot of people think that this Great Danes eat you out of house and home yet...Not True... the more you put in front of a dog of any size they will keep eating... they do love pasta and rice with meat and vegetables and dries and.... they eat a lot of food that we eat.. I had three of my own at different times in my life and several from Great Dane Rescue and they were very friendly and loved to play and also loved to rest... Being a Big Dog they love a Walk and yet they do not need a lot of exercise as they do have only a small heart...They are very prone to Arthritis when they are inside at night ...(some times ) they are very happy to just lay on the floor next to where you are sitting... They do like Friendship and Companionship and also they are a very loyal friend and companion...
There is NEVER a "best dog" because it depends on what you want. If you want a laid back, easy going dog, a lab may do the trick. If you need a high-energy dog to run and jog with, a Dalmatian, Husky, or Great Dane may be the dog for you. If you want a small dog with high energy, Chihuahuas are a good bet. If you'd like a small dog with low energy, try a Pomeranian. Of course, not all dogs are going to meet the energy characteristics for their breed, they have personalities. When picking out a dog you want to be low energy, DO NOT take the happy, energetic puppy, as it will be high-energy and require a lot of exercise. If wanting a high-energy puppy, try that one. Keep in mind not to let the dog be too lazy, as getting overweight can be life-threatening.
It just depends on where you live! If you live in the country, or have a big backyard, a bigger dog, like a Border Collie, would be best. If you live in an apartment, however, a smaller dog, like a Chihuahua, is best.
