What type of world would we have without guns and do guns make the world a safer place?

Without guns people would use knifes, explosives, and other things for violence. Guns here keep us safer and in danger at the same time.

Well you know our President signed the gun control bill , watching the news tonight they said about every gun shop around is just about sold out of weapons , think the ban backfired now there is twice as many guns on the streets !!!!

If that were to happen we'd have to return to the days of killing one another face to face, planting axes in each others skulls. Not an easy thing to do even for the most stoic of warriors, particularly in this desensitized day and age. However, due to that fact it might make war truly the diplomacy of last resort.

The world is safer with guns. without guns violent crimes would increase 300% or more cause only criminals will have them and I can't protect everyone cause I have guns the govt don't know about.

I think it would be like the prohibition. If guns were outlawed the people would get them illegally. Just keep it simple law and common sense that's what we need

Watch the movie, "Demolition Man". That's no world that I want to live in. No fun stuff, no cussing, sex with virtual reality helmets, singing TV commercial jingles, eating at only Taco Bell...Thankfully, guns saved the day in that movie.
