I prefer a ford simply because of the US Automakers the are the only ones who didn't take federal bailout money.

Why do you like ford? They always stall and break down FAST
Report as
I don't know why you got "fun" votes for that answer. I have you a helpful because I thought your answer was helpful. I don't know what was fun about it.
I am primarily a Chevy guy but there are some Fords I like. I gained respect for them when they didn't take the bailout.

Gave not have ^^^.
Report as
I said I prefer ford because of them
Not taking bail out money. On the other Hand fords last just as long as competitors with the same care and maintenance. Right at the moment I own 2 Gm and 1 Chrysler vehicle. I've owned Fords in the past and will again
Report as
I haven't bought a vehicle since before the bailout. I'm shopping now and I'm shopping for a ford.
Report as
I recommend chevy or dodge
Report as
And that's fine. I've owned many many GM. Vehicles over the years and had very good luck with them. On the other hand Ive owned 6 Chrysler vehicles I'm my life and they all have been a money pit. They were all bought new. When I trade my current Chrysler vehicle off it will have been the last one ill ever own

chevrolet has solid motors but because of recent loans to keep them afloat they need to cut corners in some areas.

dodge has solid motors. only line I recommend from then is a v8 jeep grand cherokee. but it rides hard.

ford vehicles are solid. ford has no loans and doesn't have to pay anyone back so they don't need to cut corners.

Mazda is a throw awake car company. buy the car and toss it in a few years.

it depends what you need it for. kf it is local commute then get a car that has been on the line for years. example: chevy impala or malibu. ford lincons are good. dodge grand cherokees keep going up in the 250,000 mile range

if its a truck for commuting get chevy. for pulling get ford

Found on road dead. Just kidding, not trying to start anything. There are some Fords I really like. 49 Mercurys, 57 T Birds, 32 & 34 Fords just to name a few. Henry Ford was a genius with some of the innovations he made in the industry and to make the automobile available to the common man. His Flathead V8 was a big one. He found a way to cast the block in one piece. Prior to that it was 3 pieces that had to be bolted together.

And it's the only American car dealer that cut the cabinets pay instead of taking a bailout
Report as
That's right! And I think it's a descendant of Henry running it now. It was someone else for awhile.

i personally prefer dodge. if you end up with a ford or Mazda, make sure it doesnt have a 2.5 rotary engine. they are horrible and you will spend more time fixing it than driving it
