Sharing room with little sister again?

Im fourteen and my sisters five. When she first came home from the hospital we shared a bedroom with our brother whos nine. A few years later we got a new house and I had to share with her again and my brother got his own room. We moved again and none of us have a room because its only one bedroom and my mom gets that bedroom and we have a new house now but I have to share with my little sister again. I dont think its fair I dont get any privacy and she always takes and ruins my stuff I wouldnt mind if she only had to sleep in there but its her room also so her stuff goes in there and Im not aloud to shut her out. Her and my brother get along great and they play with the same toys together I just dont see why she cant share with him...Any suggestions and its not like its a boy girl problem because there both to little to understand any of that. And my sister can sleep in my roon still.

You could split the room in half. With your parents' permission, get some painters' tape and split the room in half, based on which side of the room has the closet, so that each of you get some of it. Then just put all of your stuff on your side, and put all of her stuff (neatly) on her side. Set up a rule that if her stuff gets on your side of the room, you get ONE thing from her next dessert, or something like that, and vice versa. If you really have to, you can even make one part of the room be shared.
(To save room the shared part could be a bunk bed so that half of the room isn't taken up by beds.)
I know this is the "usual" solution, but I'm sure it works!! I, however, have no personal experience with this because I am the only girl in my family (besides my mom), so I'll always get my own room!

You should put something in the middle of the room, and if she passes it tell her you'll kick her in the shins. Tell that to your mother or father too, so when your little sister passes the barrier your mother and father don't have any reason to ground you after you kick her in the shin with your steal-towed boots.

Viper, if you're talking aboput the US doing that... well, I completely agree with you! However, hurting family (or anybody else) is mean, and when you turn 18, it will be illegal! How do you make a smily face like this but without the slight hint toward a party hat? <:)
