i believe in christianity because this world is too amazing to not have a Creator, who is God. if he loves us unconditionally, why wouldnt i love him also. the Bible talks about how God sent Jesus to save us of our sins and he is the reason Christians/me are so grateful, cuz we know our burdens of sin can be taken off our shoulders, God is good!
I'm about as atheist as a Catholic can be. This means that I don't believe in the Bible or Church, but I believe in God. And I believe in God because when I look at the world it just makes sense that their is.
I believe in God because I have proved to myself that what the bible says is true. I have been open-minded and studied all faiths/viewpoints. The one that makes most sense scientifically, logically and spiritually is the one that I decided to go with.
My religion of choice is Jehovah's Witnesses. No one else could back their teachings with solid proof.
I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and I agree with ShiningTruth. After many years of studying different religious beliefs, I have reached the place I believe is best, and have developed firm faith in my heavenly father.
I don't have religion because I don't need a book to tell me what is obvious about the universe. Why would an ancient dead nomadic goat herder know more than an evolved man by 2000 years? It's logically erroneous to assume he does. Supreme skepticism has led me to disbelieve more things than I believe but what I do believe is simply the obvious and not much more. The only assumption I make is that what we call reality is in fact real or just that I am not a nihilist. It's a very plain way of looking at the world but I find none truer.
