It depends on what your crying about. If its of joy not its as bad but not good, but if its something like the death of a family member than you should maybe ask your doctor to prescribe you some sleeping pills.(Why are you crying)
I wouldn't say it's a bad thing, I suppose if you've got to cry then crying yourself to sleep is better than crying while your tryin to function in daily life. But after a while its got to get exhausting. I read the reasons behind the pain, have you tried talking to a counselor about it or joining a support group?
