Is it better to plan ahead or wait a little longer?

I have this event I have to go to on this Saturday and I was planning on bring this girl I have been seeing she told she had the days off. Should I ask her now or wait and ask later on this week?

Just wait like 2 days before the occasion so it's for sure that she can come and she can prepare for it
