I know a lot of married people who are on Facebook. Sometimes they each have their own account and sometimes one or the other does and sometimes they share an account. It is funny watching some of them, it is almost like they are dating again, flirting back and forth.
As long as Facebook is being used to get in contact with friends, family and co-workers what harm does it do?
It is perfectly fine, unless one's intention is to use it to cheat (in which case they shouldn't be married anyway). I use facebook to connect with old and current friends, and alot of them are married like me. Probably the younger crowd uses it more to flirt and meet people, like my younger bro - he's constantly telling girls how pretty they are on fb and stuff, but he's just a kid. If I did that my wife would have my head, but I don't so its all good.
I married, I'm a man and I don't even bother to get one, because I don't think it will be good, I have not cheated on my wife and don't plan on it, but her mind will b running, and she is very jealous.
I think it's perfectly fine for anyone, married or single to have a FB page. It is not a dating site, so if any spouses do have issues, they have obvious trust issues . Then again , don't do or say anything you don't want known by all connected to your life!
