What is with the phone lines in Germany...how come I cant get through?

It could be that you don't have the country code at the beginning of the number you are trying to call. If your number does not start with +49 then it won't go through. You could also be calling a busy line.

Maybe there are just a lot of people on the phone or something. Keep trying, it'll work eventually.
