I would ask you to fully understand the commitment you are making. Everybody is enamored with special forces and thinks it would be cool to say you're in that line of work but think about the longer term and the actual work of being a Navy Seal? Understand that it's not like the movies where you jump out of a plane and shoot things up. Do some research and learn what a day in their life is about and then make your decision. I'm definitely not trying to discourage you - just putting some reality into the decision. And when you've done that and you still want to do it - go for it.

All branches of the Military encourage you to complete High School before enlisting, but it's not required.

However an elite group like the SEALS will require you to graduate.

Well get ready for 4 years of training.....80% of the people who sign up dont make it.... and take 6 tests that have 120 pages.....That what it takes to become a Navy Seal....Comment if any questions plz.

Go talk to a Navy recruiter. Every town has one.

I have been in some very small towns that have had them. They didn't staff the office everyday. If yours doesn't I am sure there is a nearby town that does.

im not sure how long it would take if ur asking about the training but slenderp is right u don't have to finish but it's encouraged and even though i'm not u i would complete high school since u only have one year left that way if u go when u come back u have more open opportunities to wat to do with the rest of ur life

I'd recommend trying out for the SWiCCs first, then try out for the SeALs. Most candidates don't make it in on the first try right out of boot camp, they're too young and immature, but if you use the SWiCCs as a stepping stone to the SeALs you'll have a much better chance of making it on your first try. Your experience in the SWiCCs will make you a better, more well-rounded SeAL.

I hope you're a good swimmer!
FWIW, your GPA isn't all that important. Physical & mental strength is.
Good luck!!!

The last part of navy seal training is sitting in a box with minimum food and water for 3 days straight, you can't stretch or anything. your stuck, i know this because my brother-in law was recently accepted and is now in Dubai working for the SEALS isn't that cool? anyway the training is crazy but if you fully understand the commitment your about to make go for it! but just know its NOTHING like the movies. What movies do is they make it seem all fun in the military so more people will come, then when you sign your stuck for 5 years. The military has there sneaky tricks of making it seem all fun and games, but there is no comparison between the real world, and movies/games.
