Smoking actually causes stress. The person becomes addicted to the nicotine and feels stressed when they need their dose of it. That's why it feels so relaxing to them when they smoke, they are feeding the addiction. It just replaces the stress of life with a stress that is quite unhealthy.
Nope it doesn't. If anything, it will add more stress. If you're feeling stressed, do something to take your mind off things. Like play video games or something. Just don't smoke. It's a really pointless thing to do. It can cause cancer. And no, it doesn't make u look cool either. It makes u smell like cr@p and no one will want to be around u.
Actually, smoking increases the heart rate and restricts blood vessels. Some people think it relieves stress but in reality, it increases it. Maybe you'll forget what you're stressed out about for the couple minutes you are smoking but you'll be worse off afterwards.

The truth is, since people spend so much money on it every years that's over a billion tax dollars made every year on cigarettes, which is keeping our economy at a decent standing point. Another truth is that it does indeed release stress. That's why the old stereotype of a writer would be somebody who smoked. Writing is very stressful and lots of writers have bad habits because of that stress. So, yes, smoking does take away stress.

Divert your mind from stress like listen to your favourite music, have an ice cream, play games, talk to kids they are very innocent and do not understand your stress so they will lower your stress.
