use your thumb nail to push the splinter up and out of wherever it is youll need to find the place it came in and then push from the opposite side

Get some hot water, (not to hot) leave your finger in it. Until it is soggy and use the

Heat a needle pick the skin gently wash well either get with tweezers or pour warm wax on peel off it usually works!

I think liquid glue. I may not be right but I heard you put a dab, and when it dries peel off the glue, the sliver should come off with the glue!
