To stop hiccups you can hold your breath as long as you can 5 times in a row, or chug back like 2-3 glasses of water. I also heard getting scared will get rid of them to. I know the first two work for sure though.
I can tell you this, my grandfather had me do it when I was younger. And he was the smartest man I knew. A spoonful of mustard will get rid of hiccups within 2 seconds after swallowing it. I promise u that

Drink some water from the front of the glass. U have to bend down to get the front of the glass, find a small glass and drink. You will spill some so put something down for the spill. It will STOP RIGHT AWAY!!! Please let the community know what worked. I know mind does everyone I tell about it thanks me. And I mean it stops as soon as U do it.

such a complicated question ! when a person's blood becomes overflown by oxygen, he starts to hiccup. the best way for defeating it , is to breathe in a freezing bag for approximately 20 minutes. in this way u breathe the same air for times and this decreases amount of oxygen in ur blood.
Heard most others before but one that has worked every time for several people I heard about couple years ago......simple too......drink the glass of water....but have someone cover both your ears with their hands.......or cover yourself and drink thru straw.......try it....
