Seek professional help. Ask your doctor or their nurse who they use as a referral. If you have insurance, they usually pay for everything except what you pay for an office visit. I have fought depression since my teenage years. I'm now 58. My condition is a medical issue. I wish I had gotten help a long time ago! You are not alone. There is someone waiting to help you. Most communities have a Depression Support Group. These meetings are free and offer alot of answers that can help you. There will be people there with depression that can discuss how they feel and how to deal with it.
Engage your self in some social activities. Go to some Old age homes, help them, pay a visit to orphanage try to console them, show your love and affection to them. Spend your leisure time in garden, be social, make friends, go for morning walk with a smile on your face, say hello to people you meet on roads. Try to mix-up with people be friendly and helpful.
