It depends with the particular person that is trying to get over a relationship. Most people take a short time to heal from the break up while others may take a very long time. It is important to talk to a friend and socialize with new friends so as to get over the relationship quickly. The help of a guidance and counselor may also be important.
Depends on how long the relationship lasted before breaking up. If you were only together for a year, you'll likely get over it sooner. The best way to get over any ended relationship is to get back in the game. Take it slow. Don't rush into anything just because you want the pain to stop.
You may never get over it but "time heals all wounds" and two weeks is not much time. I still have wonderful memories of a girl I loved in high school over fifty years ago. But I was very fortunate to find a new love 8 years later and we are still together.
Depends on you. Whether or not, you allow yourself to grieve her loss. If you properly deal with the hurt & rationally think your way to healing, you'll get back to norm in no time, but in saying this, its still going to take time of course.
