A car accelerates from rest at a constant rate of 2.1m/s squared for 7.0 seconds . How far does the car travel in this time?

Report as

X = X(0) + v(0)t +(1/2)at^2
X(0)=0
V(0)=0
So X = (1/2)at^2
Where a is acceleration and t is time.

Distance = rate x time
D = 2.1 x 7
D = 14.7 mi. ANSWER
