Celery, carrots, apples slices, orange slices, sunflower seeds, most nuts, slices of any melon they're mostly water, we make our own "party mixes" different fruits & nuts with some cereals mixed in, my kids come up with their own mixtures, sometimes it's a bit odd but they eat it so good for them. My own snacks center around various fruits, well fruit flavored jelly beans-close

My husband calls this my troll bowl (I'm short) 1/4 C walnuts, 1 oz. Monterey Jack cheese cut in pieces, 1/2 C sliced cooked carrots--they've already been cooked and in the frig, 1/2 oz. raisins (you can get these 1/2 oz. boxes in the grocery on the snack isle) seasoned with sea salt. This is a satisfying nutritious snack that I sometimes substitute for an evening meal...helps keep my weight down. It's about 300 calories but it is good for you. I try to stay at 100 lbs.

Smoothies, salsa & crackers, fresh fruit drizzled with lemon juice or honey.

Whatever you eat, homemade is always better! There are no unnecessary additives when you make it yourself, especially sugar & salt.
