Leave him. If you two broke up then you broke up. I don't see a point in giving second chances because it will just happen again. Unless it was a fight about your parents that drove you apart, leave him be.

You should ask him for another chance. Since he said he likes you there will be another chance of having him back.

U can hurt now or u can hurt later, but break-ups r inevitable. R u running to him or running away from dealing with losing him. The truth to that could save u much time and heart ache.
