I'm so hungry, help?

I just ate like an hour ago (salad with chicken), but I'm STARVING. I think I'm hungrier than before I ate... I'm trying to sleep but my stomach won't stop rumbling. I'm so hungry i literally feel like im going to die...I honestly can't say I've ever felt so hungry... What's wrong with me? How can I feel less hungry without eating?

Salad with chicken, especially grilled chicken, is not very filling. If you made it yourself then it probably is a healthy start, but you need more. Protein is somewhat filling, which the chicken counts as, but the best formula for getting and staying full is protein + starch + fat. Starch expands in your belly and helps you feel fuller than with protein alone. Fat slows the emptying of your stomach and keeps you feeling fuller longer. So a lightly buttered whole wheat dinner roll or two would have made a nice compliment to your salad. No, fat and starch are not the demons they are made out to be. You do need some. Not A LOT, but yes, some.

Thank you, this is helpful. I was trying not to eat any fat or starch at all because I thought it was just fattening

Salad isnt necessarily a "filling" food. If you want to get full eat something with protein like yogurt

the only way to feel full, is to eat something filling. i know you dont want to eat anything, but eating is the only solution.
