You can also progress in your learning if you want to, or say that there's a certain part of a subject that really interests you, you can spend more time on that and learn more about it. Whereas in schools it's very hard to progress (I did most of my grade 12 stuff during my grade 8-10 years) and they also have it set up so you don't really go into any depth in your studies. Other then that? you can fit your school schedule around your life, rather then your life around your school schedule, so say you want a job, no problem. Your boss wants you to work from 10am-6pm? no problem, you can do some school before 10, and the rest after 6.
