i think it defines what you are allowed to do legally... ie: if your under 13 you cant go into certain movies without an adult...if your under 18 you cant buy cigarattes...if your under 21 you cant buy alcohol...etc.
Yes. It is just something we use for math or as a word like the word 'Hello' we need it to communicate. If we couldn't communicate, we wouldn't be able to work together or do many other things. it's like a 20 year old dating a 13 year old, is wrong. also watching a movie from PG 13 you can't watch unless your 13 & up. Rated R you can't watch movies unless you 17 & up. If your younger than 18 you cant use/buy cigarattes. or And unless your 21 or older, you can't drink alcohol .
Not at all. If age were just a number and nothing else, then there wouldn't be any differences between the ages, which is incorrect. Age influences your personality, wisdom, and especially appearance. Your age makes a very big difference with who you are; you aren't the same person at 16 that you will be at 60. Generally, people who are closer in age have much more in common; a 15 year old has nothing in common with a 25 year old, but a 45 year old could have a lot in common with a 55 year old, so it depends. When you're young, age makes a far bigger difference than it does when you're older.
