What's the best lip care product?

My lips dry up in the winter time and it's very painful. No matter what I do, they still crack, peel, and sometimes they bleed. I play the flute and piccolo and it's very hard to enjoy my music when my lips are raw and aching. I have tried every chap stick there is, but nothing seems to work. What is the best lip care product to heal up the broken skin on my lips quickly? I am desperate. Thank you.

Thank you! :) Oh, but I have heard that carmex is not good for your lips because it takes the skin off or something? I'm not really sure, that's just what I heard. Is that true? And where can I buy "Baby Lips"? :) I have never heard of it before :)

I used Blistex before and it made my lips puff up and I got a red line around them. Does it have plumper in it? Does it do that to your lips also or do you think I might be allergic to it?
Report as
I dont know what is in it but no it dosent do that to me so youre probably just allergic to it.

I tried Vaseline before too and I loved it but when I stopped using it I noticed my lips dried out 10x more than it did before I used it. Is that normal, do you think I should just keep using it?
Report as
I don't know, it's probably cause its cold that's why. I use but the weather is fine..
Report as
Ok, well thanks anyways for the advice :) I guess I will just continue to use it even when my lips aren't chapped :) I mean, who wants dry lips anyways? lol Thank you again :)

I liked using Vaseline because it seems like I didn't have to apply it as often as regular chap stick :) But it seemed like it dried my lips out more after I stopped using it. Do you think if I use a gloss after I use the vaseline it will help hold in some moisture?
