I don't know, but that doesn't mean I approve of it. I have always found it strange (and annoying) that great questions get less responses than "Favorite color" or "who likes One Direction"

how come our answers were removed?! lmao
Thanks!! :-)
Thats a great question? The only thing I can come up with is that the mods don't want to have to change all those diapers!! Poo,poo people grow up & get a life!! Don't believe everything you read or hear!! Too many ppl flagging those questions because they don't like the answers they are getting!!
I think it's because a lot of the Ask Mods are believers and it offends most of them. Whereas the Bieber and One Direction questions are just there for the entertainment. I mean it's horrible watching little girls bleed before they hit puberty because Bieber was on drugs, but just watching these girls go crazy over a guy that'll never like them is pretty funny. I'm sure every time they see one they all gather together and listen to the things that these girls say to defend the talent less people.
It all depends on what mod is on site, you know what I mean?
idk...I was just stating this on a question...Person posted.."I'm going to bed now?" Who's going to missed me?" Ask.com is now a Social Network site....cool..
Because "You can't handle the truth!!!!" *done in my best Jack Nicholson*
The trend seems to be that ASK is moving away from questions that require thought. Fluff questions with no substance are welcomed but scientific questions involving analytical reasoning or philosophical questions inspiring critical thought will not be tolerated.
You know, mods on here scare me.... I have noticed that all the important and interesting questions get put down, but all the "Whats a frog" or "Who thinks Justin Bieber is hot?" questions just stay there, even though people have reported the site page as ina-pro-pro........
Because too many arguments come of them.
That's what I wanna know!!
I guess cause they don't want to have the arguments.
Because they want you to give in and become a huge fan of them both....
I asked a question twice and it got removed both times. It was completely harmless. It was "Atheists and Christians: Have you read the Bible in its entirety?" So I asked it a third time and just asked: "Have you read the Bible in its entirety?" and it stayed (so far anyway.)
I remember from when I used to use this site, that Fundamentalists thought that anyone who wasn't born again Christian would go to Hell and my dad had just died and they tried to convince me he was Hell bound because he wasn't born again. So I recently submitted a question entitled "Born again Christians: Do you believe that Mother Teresa is in Hell?" I wasn't trying to start a fight. I thought it was a good question because she has done a lot of good works (although I don't agree with her faith) and was curious what they thought. It got deleted.
There is no such thing as a simple thought provoking spiritual question here, same usually with saying science has an answer for everything. People don't have simple, respectful debates anymore. Belief or lack of belief, is usually shoved in someone's face, and any point given to argue it, no matter how much sense it might make, is dismissed immediately as nonsense and everyone ends up with the "I'm right you're wrong" mentality, this reminds me of the Black-Eyed Peas song "Where's The Love", more specifically the line "where's the love", not to pressure a belief on anyone...
Society never wants to deal with sensible questions.
