How to get games on a Ti-84 Plus Calculator on a mac?

I have Mac Os X Lion, and bootcamp with Windows 7 32 bit I think. I have a cable that I found that isn't from Texas Instruments, but it can plug into both my USB port and my calculator. Any help is appreciated.

To get the games on your Mac, you need to first connect the TI-84 Pius Calculator to the Mac using the USB cable. Then, download the TI software and install it on your Mac. Once you are done download the games that you want and then save them on your Mac. Alright I've done that, and I found a usb cable that can connect to my calculator and my usb drive on my computer but when i plug it in ti-connect doesn't see the calculator. what do i do?

IDK Those games are outdated anyway.
