A young working class boy in 19th century England suddenly finds his circumstances improved by an anonymous benefactor. You should read the book. Dickens is remarkable. He has the most colorful characters in all of literature.

it sis about i little boy whose mother is dead he lives with his sister and her husband, the little boy meets a prisoner in the marshes near his house and becomes his friends. his neighbor Miss Havisham gets stood up and wanders around her house in her wedding dress, she lives with her niece do read it it is a really good book
