Is High School just a bunch of unnecessary busy work?
I'm serious, I go to school for 6 1/2 hours and it takes 30 minutes up and back (so add another hour I'm wasting). Then they pile on the homework, even in the summer (I take AP Classes- they require summer work), and that takes say.... 3-ish hours of my time, excluding the breaks (I'm not so stupid that I need a ton of time, I grasp concepts easily, they just REEEEAAAALLYYY load it on you), I also believe homework is just a fallacy to keep kids off the streets and not get in trouble. Also, I swear, I at least have one test or quiz a day, so add around 15 minutes of studying (if I choose to do so, 95% of the time I don't, though.) The only time I do something that's unrelated to school is when I go browse the interwebs (I go back and forth while doing my work). It's like I have no life. o.o I NEED a life. It's a pain and most of the work is not needed, just plain busy work. Sometimes I feel like its better to drop out and get a GED (No big difference- I have a 4.5 GPA, I believe I can handle it, ^_<) and just go off to do something that's worth my time and effort.
*I would like to apologize in advance if there are any errors in spelling and the like, the iPhone is a pain in the buttocks to type on, and the collaboration is screwed up (also, if any of you can tell me how to fix the collaboration on the iPhone, I'll love you forever).*
