Yes! Belief in God is alive and well in this world, and is not in decline as some might have you believe. So, if you believe, too, know you're not alone, and it does not prevent you from being intelligent and rational. ;)
Yes! I most certainly belive in God. Even though you cannot see him for he is an invisible spirit. For example, just as we cannot see the wind, we know that it exist when we feel its cool breeze. We also help in the bible to learn of his beautiful qualities such as Love (1John 4:16). He is a God who is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loving-kindness and truth. (Exodus 34:6) By learning about him through the pages of the Bible, however, you can come to know him as a person. The more you learn about him, the more real he will become to you and the more reason you will have to love him and feel close to him.
A student hears from his teacher how Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution advanced scientific understanding and liberated mankind from superstitious beliefs.
His parents may have taught him that God created the earth and all life on it; saying that the Bible’s account of creation is trustworthy and that evolution is simply a theory—one not supported by the evidence. Both the teacher and parents mean well. But whom should one believe?
I would have to say that each of us would have to make up our own minds by examining the evidence for evolution and for creation and then decide personally what we will believe. Even the Bible warns against blindly believing what others teach. At Proverbs 14:15 says: “Anyone inexperienced puts faith in every word, but the shrewd one considers his steps.”
Many people wonder if belief in a Creator is reasonable. Some wonder,"Well if I can't see him, how do I truly know he exists?" However, think about air, can we see it? No. But we know it's there because we feel it and see how it sustains life. In a similar way, as we look at the planet Earth, the variety of plant and animals, as we examine the human body and DNA and RNA structures we see how complex it was designed. Life is too complex to be a series of ransom happenstance. We must have a Creator! At Romans 1:20 it says, "For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable."
