You'll find people who hate religion, school, government, guns, and everything in-between. Just because they have an opinion doesn't make it right. Doesn't make it wrong. It's just their opinion. If you have a different view, then ignore them and let them go on their merry way. Arguing won't change their mind or yours so save yourself some time.
Because they think everyone..."should just get along"....if that were true, there'd be no need for protests (violent or otherwise), lawsuits, assaults, gangs....in their own country, state or neighborhood.
hopefully, they hate how our government uses the military, but they express this feeling as hating the military itself. Personally I dislike a lot of what our military has done but I don't blame them, its the politicians pulling the strings that I dislike.
Not necessarily hate the military. But people dislike the fact that we're involved in a pointless conflict and have our troops stationed abroad all over the world to protect our finances... I mean uhh...our allies.
Well, the Westburo Baptist Church, for example, pickets soldiers' funerals because they believe that "God" is killing U.S. troops because of gays in the U.S. But, moral of the story, anyone who says anything bad about soldiers who put their lives on the line for our safety, our freedom, and our rights, should be thwacked upside the head by a 6'7" U.S. Marine who can bench press 300 pounds. I bet they wouldn't disrespect the Military when they saw him coming.
