Ironically, that's also why it makes you feel bad later, because it is bad for your body. But great for the spirit in moderation!

It's a depressant.

It makes your muscles relax and your mind becomes calm until the stimulant kicks in and you start wanting to dance or fight.

It is so healthy, that's why. Same with cheeseburgers & French fries. Probably because you are an alcoholic? I don't know. It makes me feel terrible. I don't drink the stuff other than a sip from someone else's glass in the summer.
