What is fair way to split up chores in my household? both my husband and I work full time and overtime. the difference between him and me

is that if a dryer sheet falls on the floor an I see it I will just pick while he will come tell me it needs picked up. I sweep every week whole house and clean 3 bathrooms and he thinks cause he washes cars and mowed grass it's fair split. but I also bath, breakfast and get our child ready for school every day and tons of laundry. is it wrong that I want him to help more?

Me and mine just do what needs to be done. He even cooks, he cooks every other night. On nights he does not, I cook. He does his own laundry, and I do mine and my daughters. He knows I hate dishes, so as a compromise- I vacuum, and he does dishes, since he hates sweeping..We take turns tucking our daughter in at night. I know im lucky and most men wont do these things. In my opinion if you both work, both should do housework. Its not the 1950's, its just to hard for one person to do it all, and he is selfish if he doesnt agree.
Men sometimes think the work ends when they get home. People go to work to provide for their family, but the real work doesn't start until you get home!

I tell him the same thing but we can't really afford it.

They are surprisingly inexpensive, what is the price you put on stress between husband and wife. You would be happier walking your dog than cleaning up your husbands pee of a toilet seat cursing him

How you share your household chores is purely on agreement and understanding, not on predetermined schedule. It is very okay to share out duties but there should be a willingness to assist each other as you two are one. If this does not happen, you can sit and discuss the roles you play once again. There is a game called reversed roles, perhaps you can play that and exchange roles for one day or more.
