NO i dont. Do you think a germ would stand there counting "1...2...3...4...5..., Now I can jump onto the food! It has been 5 sec." Dont think so, if you drop something, just pick it up and throw it in the trash. Unless you want to risk becomming sick! So NO!
Hi. By the time you read this, I have probably dropped the measuring cups, a couple chocolate chips to say the least, accompanied by a raisin or two, the phone has rung, a walnut has dropped on the floor. ... guess what? I threw the chocolate chips and raisins in the batter, and the walnut too! Yes, I definitely believe in the 5 second rule. I also have a neat and tidy kitchen: however, as far as "Clean" well, it's not growing anything like rotten bananas in the corner.. sometimes though, they do get to the point where it's time to make banana bread! hahahahaha. Yes, I do believe.. but, if I worked in a mine or had huge amounts of traffic through my kitchen... I would think twice. I hope you have a great day!
