Stay very hydrated, don't pick at it, and I heard that if you put a little bit of honey on your acne overnight and that reduces the bacteria...and also if you wash your face with lemon juice that works to. Good luck and remember, you're beautiful with or without acne ;)

To prevent acne, wash your face every day with a clean washcloth and warm water. If it requires any more than that you should discuss it with a dermatologist - don't just go out and buy proactive, I know people who've had VERY bad reactions and acne scarring from it. Personally I only use a washcloth, and apply organic Jojoba oil to my face at night. The oil is a was ester that is similar to your skin oils, so it helps skin balance out oil production.
To get rid of acne immediately, I know this is against what most recommend but I take a needle, soak it in rubbing alcohol for 5 minutes, and then poke just the head of it from the side. (If it isn't showing pus, DON'T POKE IT!) Then squeeze out the pus, wipe the area with a little rubbing alcohol to disinfect (yes it will burn a little.) If you pick at it, use your nails instead of a needle, or poke skin rather than the head of pus, you can cause scarring. But by draining it in a sterile way and doing minimal damage, you will clear up the point of infection faster.
