It doesn't have a limited slip differential, called Posi-traction on GM vehicles. It's an option and most don't have it. If you don't have a limited slip differential whichever wheel doesn't have traction will spin and the one that has traction will not move. If the differential is locked it won't turn well because the wheel on the inside turns more slowly than the one on the outside during a turn. A limited slip differential will allow the tire with traction to turn but the mechanism is somewhat more complicated and more expensive than an open differential.
