I need parental help
I have prom coming up in a few months and I'm on a very gradual diet to lose 3-4 pounds around my stomach area. The only adjustments that I'm doing is cutting back on some of my food (I usually eat and obscene amount), drinking a cup of water before eating and doing some crunches while watching TV every night. My mom recently found out about my diet and I cannot get it through her head that I'm not starving myself. She is now purposely giving me extra food at supper and watching me to make sure I eat it like a little kid. This isn't even the first time that this has happened, she does this every time I just try to lose a few pounds. What makes it more annoying is that when I go back to not dieting and eating as much as I want, she's always pushing fruit on me and telling me that I'm getting a little pudgy so maybe I should skip dessert. When I was little this was sort of bearable, but I'm going to be 16 in 2 months. How do I get her to back off?
