Yea, you're kind of bad. It's good that you are feeling guilty, you know you did something wrong.

It isn't exactly the best thing to have enjoyed harm come to another person. But you feeling bad now shows that you still have a conscience. While it wasn't the best thing to stand there and watch pain come onto your ex, at least you didn't join in the violence. So my answer is no, you are not bad. We all do things we regret occasionally. I hope this helped.

Yes you should have stopped it, If someone got killed or hurt, you'd be in court and possible implicated in the crime. It is always best to be mature and stop violence if possible. I have seen cases like this to where the person died and everyone was in trouble and some went to prison. You'd be shocked how easy it is to die of a brain bleed for getting hit in a fight. Violence is never the answer.

If you saw it, did you report it? If not, did you go to jail?

You might either want to punish your ex or want to protect your relationship with your friend. I guess your friend will have to be unhappy if you protect your ex. I don't know what happened between you and your ex, but maybe you know clearly what you were doing when your ex got beat up by your friend.

If you have faults then shouldn't that be your fate aswell... You should never be pleased in the demise of your enemy...

It depends on what the enemy has done.

Not true. I have never seen a time where one should rejoice in their demise.

Let's get real here, I want to know how badly your ex got "beaten". Was it a black eye, or was it enough to put him in the hospital, or require medical care. I hate violence and have zero tolerance for myself, but if I'm 100% honest, I probably would have enjoyed seeing my ex get punched once or twice if he'd been a jerk to me. However...if it was a real "beat down", you should have stepped in. What's done is done, you can't change what happened, but have a plan for what action to take should this type of situation come up again. It doesn't do any good to feel guilty, recognize that you made a mistake, forgive yourself, move on.

not that bad.. he just got a black eye and blood on his mouth..

Then I'd probably laugh about it. But don't let it happen again because it made you feel badly.
