Always having canned air on hand is one of the best things you could do if you own ANY electronics. It definitely makes the keyboard a much easier item to keep truly clean. Easier to keep your ports squeaky clean; and any cooling fan (on a desktop model, that is) benefits greatly from operating dust-free. And, next time your cell phone falls in any water, several manufacturers advise you to >please< use canned air to remove any moisture possible **before** nestling the device in a container of dry rice.

Canned air is usually the standard but sometimes doesn't do it justice. To "detail" it, I would remove every single key to clean it with alcohol while it's off. Please let it dry if you use any moisture for at least a couple hours. Compressed air is different then canned air as it contains moisture.
