Other than religious reasons, why can't homosexuals get married, adopt, donate blood, rent a home, etc.?

Closed minded a$$holes... & they are so ignorant, they probably don't even know at least 1 of the people in their immediate circle is homosexual. Idiots. Why can't gay & lesbian couples help adoption rates?! I love all of my gay or lesbian friends, & will always stand up as a voice for them! I will continue to help them have equal rights by voting too!

Actually, sexually active gay males cannot legally donate blood. If they haven't been sexually active for at least 6 months they can, but if they are active then no.

That's pretty much it, sadly, along with the homophobia part of it. Many people think it's "not natural" due to it being biologically incorrect and "weird" because most people don't understand it.

Marriage is the only issue up for debate, and that's becoming legalized slowly, state by state. It's a legal issue with marital rights, insurance issues.Who told you gays can't rent homes or donate blood? Everyone gets tested for HIV with white heterosexual teens leading the way in new cases.

Homosexuals CAN do all of the things you've listed, aside from marriage, although in some states they can get married, & in other states, they can have a "civil union" which is very much like a marriage minus the religious aspect.

BTW: Where in the world did you hear that they can't donate blood..?!? That is absolutely absurd, of course they can donate blood!! They can also be organ donors, and donate bone marrow, donate old clothes, furniture, food, etc... :)

Pertaining to the rental thing, if someone doesn't allow gay people to rent their property it's probably just plain bias. The inability for gays to adopt may be due to people believing that the best home for a child to grow up in is a home consisting of a mother and a father. As far as donating blood goes, the fear of AIDS used to prevent gays from blood donation.

the bible says these are people with demon soul demon have both sex agenda thats why if they are male they want male if they are female they want female. How ever angel are the same way they have both sex agenda thats way some of them are good people

It actualy has more to do with money. insurance policies, retirement funds equity funds wills and property, Govt /military pensions.
If it's illegal then those holding the funds get to keep the money.
it it were legal they'd have to pay to the benificiary.
Has NOTHING to do with Jesus freaks. they use it as social battle ground. Like the civil war was NOT about slavery. it was about taxes and the transcontinental RR.

I will add this though, because I see a lot of incorrect people....
SEXUALLY ACTIVE HOMOSEXUAL MEN CANNOT LEGALLY DONATE BLOOD. ONLY IF THEY HAVE BEEN CELIBATE FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS.

I thought they tested donated blood for HIV/AIDS, but there is that time frame where they/the blood could be infected, but the virus can go undetected... hmm... good point. I hadn't considered that, but it makes perfect sense to me now.
