How do you talk to a teenage guy? (GIRLS ONLY)

i wanna start being friends and like close friends with a guy i know in like two of my classes. he kinda liked me and we had a little bit flirting going on but then he just stopped talking to me.. so we barely talk now.. :/ we dont comeplety ignore each other.. we do some little talking like little things.. but once in a blue.. and even when we stop talking i could tell everytime we walk past each other we look at each other. and when im talking to my friends i see from the corner of my eye that he is always looking at me... *blushing* but he is an asshole -__- (excuse the language) and he likes one of my close friends :/ she doesnt like him back, but he always trys to kiss her and all that.. but his personality i dont really like.. i kinda doo but.. idk im a girl lol but my friends dont like his personality either and he is KINDA like a player cuz he always goes and talks to girls (so my friend said that knew him since last school year) but yeah i wanna like talk to him and be close to him and try to change the way he portrays himself because i know somewhere somehow he is nice .. idk i just feel it.. but im scared to ask my friend (the one he likes) for his # cuz he might be like wutt??? :S why u want his # and i dont really want her to know about how i feel.. soo idk if i should ask her or not.. :/ please help girls :/ and if u took ur time out to read this whole thing.. i love u and i am very greatful for ur help :)
