Why do I get white spots in my finger nails?

My mom says its a lack of calcium but I drink a tall glass of milk every night before I go to bed.... So it can't be that.. Please help

I get them from bumping my fingers I think but idk, they just kinda are there for everyone

Could be a sign of vitamin deficiencies

Some people say that happens when they stop growing for a short period of time, which could be a sign of kidney problems if im not mistaken.
