You go to the Doctor and allow him/her to evaluate you. Many symptoms that some people think are depression, are not depression at all, and are easily treated. Don't take somebody that is not qualified's word for it. Allow a PROFESSIONAL to test you. That being said, they could then prescribe the medication, if any, that is needed.
-Difficulty concentrating, remembering details, and making decisions -Fatigue and decreased energy Feelings of guilt. -Irritability, restlessness Loss of interest in activities or hobbies once pleasurable, including sex -Overeating or appetite loss Persistent aches or pains, headaches, cramps, or digestive problems that do not ease even with treatment -Persistent sad, anxious, or "empty" feelings Thoughts of suicide, suicide attempts.
