How do I know if my wrist is fractured?

Yesterday I was playing rugby, which I haven't done in a while, and I forgot that you had to catch the ball differently than in football... My dad kicked it way up and it hit my outstretched hand very hard. My wrist has been hurting badly for a day and a half now and when I run I can feel something moving. It's almost exactly how I fractured my wrist last time, so is there a way to determine if it's fractured or not?

If you can move it it's not broken/fractured. But go get an X-ray and check it out anyways. My dad broke my wrist when I was a baby and it never healed right. And im having problems with it to this day.

There is no way to tell without an xray. I recommend a trip to the ER or clinic ASAP. Just because you can move your fingers is not an indication it's not broken.
